• Telehealth

    A telehealth visit is a medical visit between a healthcare provider and a patient conducted over secure video and audio. A telehealth visit may include discussion of new symptoms or health concerns, follow-up of chronic medical conditions, a limited visual exam, recommendations for testing and treatment, new prescriptions, referrals, and patient education. Telehealth visits are HIPAA-compliant and allow patients to receive care conveniently from their home or office. Many health concerns and conditions can be evaluated and managed during a virtual visit. If the provider determines that an in-office exam or tests are indicated, an in-person visit can be scheduled. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many insurance companies are covering telehealth visits as they would in-office visits. Contact our office to learn more.
