She provides comprehensive primary care, including preventive medicine and management of chronic medical conditions. She has particular expertise and clinical interest in eating disorders, menopausal care, transgender health, migraine headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, and management of depression and anxiety. She offers a holistic, patient-centered approach to medical care and provides multidisciplinary care for her patients by collaborating closely with other providers. She is passionate about providing a Health at Every Size™ and non-diet approach to health for all, and hopes to help change the paradigm surrounding the way we address weight and health in medical care.
Dr. Metz lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and two boys. When she is not in the office, she enjoys watching her boys play sports, practicing yoga, and traveling with her family.
Dr. Metz is not currently accepting new patients, but highly recommends each of the other amazing and compassionate providers at Mosaic.
